The CELCP offers a range of activities including lectures, roundtables, workshops, colloquiums, reading groups, and film screenings. These activities are offered by CELCP members, guest speakers, students, and external collaborators.

Since its establishment, the CELCP has organized regular talks in French, English, and Spanish by academic scholars, independent researchers, poets, novelists, and filmmakers.
The CELCP has organized national and international conferences in person, online, and in hybrid formats, addressing and exploring questions related to planetarity, culture, literature, temporality and spatiality, as well as relationships between humans and non-humans.
Using various collaborative formats, the CELCP has developed a series of one-day workshops and summer schools focusing on such key topics as the World Social Forum, alter/anti-globalization, food justice, activism, planetarity, planetary health, and environmental and social justice movements.
The CELCP holds regular reading circles open to the public, students, and scholars. Frequently chaired by prominent writers and scholars in the field, the reading circles foster dialogue and the creative imagination to address pressing questions in the field of planetary cultural and literary studies.

Numerous publications by FRQSC research team and CELCP members have been released in French and English, reflecting the Center’s diverse research and multi- and para-disciplinary methods of knowledge production. In addition to these publications, the CELCP hosts its own Working Paper Series.
